  • 1 pound California Fresh Figs, stems removed and chopped
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • ½ cup sweet red wine
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Pinch fine sea salt


  • Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan; bring to rolling boil. Reduce heat; simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened. Serve warm or transfer to a sterilized jar and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
