- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
Figs and Filling
- 12 California Dried Figs
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon brandy
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1 tablespoon chopped semisweet chocolate pieces
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar (See recipe)

Directions
To make cinnamon sugar, measure sugar and cinnamon into small bowl and mix together well; set aside.
With paring knife, cut a small slit inside of each fig, and press to make a small indentation into the fig. Combine walnuts, brandy, orange zest, chocolate and 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar in a bowl, and mix together well. With small pointed teaspoon, divide and stuff filling into each fig, being careful not to split the fig. Dip the base of fig in cinnamon sugar remaining in bowl.
Arrange on serving platter; garnish as desired and serve at room temperature.
